Our philosophy for this synth
After all, it is a synth you want to use for your own sound creations. Sampling patches with all the sound shaping of the original instrument and shooting them on the Yamaha synth is a simple process but there will be a lot of restrictions afterwards. You will be restricted to the modulations and envelops and filterings of the initial patch.
Therefore, this library consists of samples of 10 pure waveforms of the original. Of course the samples are looped carefully to enable endless sustain. Having the original waveforms at your disposal, you can do all sound shaping, filtering and modulation in the Yamaha engine as if it is a virtual analog synth. In Yamaha's engine, you will find authentic filters simulating the famous ladder filter (24db). Another advantage is that you can turn the monophonic analaog synth into a polyphonic machine with ultra fat brass and pad sounds.
